Information about Lebohang
I am currently pursuing my MSc in Physics specializing in High Energy Particle Physics. My research is focused on the observation and the study of the properties of the Higgs boson. Munging my way through the big data provided by the LHC and collected by ATLAS, I performed complex statistical analysis, contributing this way to the 2013 Nobel Prize in Physics. This after I attained a BSc with Honours in Physics and BSc in Physics, Nuclear Sciences and Engineering at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Availability: I am currently available for online tutoring only until the 1st of July when I get back to South Africa from the CERN, European Organization for Nuclear Research, in Geneva. Thereafter, I will be available all days of the week for personal tutoring.
Willing to travel: 50 miles
Experience: I was a Laboratory Demonstrator at the University of the Witwatersrand during my BSc with Honours in Physics. This role involved the provision of assistance to students. Being familiar with the theoretical concepts, techniques and application methods of the experiments to be supervised. The experienced gained from helping my students understand fundamental concepts are of great use as a personal tutor.
