Hennelie

Hennelie is a Creative Arts practitioner, with a teaching career spanning over 30 years. Her expertise includes Visual Literacy, English (Home Language), Afrikaans (First Additional Language), Performing Arts and Learning and Teaching with Technology. She obtained a master’s degree in Performing Arts Technology and acts as an examiner, moderator, and advisory panel member for various tertiary institutions. She is a perceptive developer and presenter of Professional Development courses for lecturing staff, with specific interest in Reflective Practice. She is an accomplished Speech and Drama adjudicator. As a homeschool mom, she learned alongside her sons (CAPS, IEB and Cambridge), how to unlock the secrets to successful language learning!

Experience: I am an accomplished homeschooling tutor for both English (Home Language) and Afrikaans (First Additional Language) since 2016. I am also a university lecturer (full time from 1994 - 2015) and part time since 2016. I write speeches, assist in the writing of speeches (English and Afrikaans) and assist learners with presentation preparation.
