Experience: Dr Chavon is a Senior Researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), a leading scientific and technology research, development and implementation organization located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Dr joined the CSIR in 2007 where she completed her MSc in 2010 in Environmental Science at the University of the Western Cape (UWC). In 2016, she completed her PhD in Medical Bioscience at UWC. Dr has developed a significant track record (as measured by a basket of publications (manuscri pts and book chapters) and presentations) that is sufficient to indicate that she is a leading researcher in her field.
