Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: Hello, future legal minds and academic achievers!
I`m a passionate BCom Law student who believes that university should be challenging, but understanding your coursework shouldn`t feel like you`re defending yourself in the Constitutional Court without legal representation!
Throughout my academic journey, I`ve achieved distinctions in the following modules:
-Intro to Law (90%)
-Family Law (88%)
-Computer Skills (89%)
-Law of Persons (86%)
-Law of Succession (90%)
-Law of Banking and Instruments of Payment (89%)
-Insolvency Law (84%)
-Law of Contract (93%)
So, when I say I understand these modules, I have the evidence to support my case!
My interest in tutoring comes from knowing firsthand how overwhelming university can sometimes be. Between lengthy judgements, complicated legal principles, demanding assignments and exam preparation, it`s easy to feel like your textbooks are personally cross-examining you.
That`s where I come in!
I enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into simple, practical explanations that actually make sense. Whether we`re analysing case law, applying the IRAC method or tackling challenging business concepts, my goal is to make learning engaging, understandable and, occasionally, even entertaining.
I believe that students learn best in an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding without judgement. After all, the only thing that should be on trial during our lessons is the subject matter, not your intelligence!
As a university student myself, I understand the pressure of balancing academic responsibilities, deadlines and everyday life. My approach is therefore patient, supportive and tailored to each student`s learning pace.
Ultimately, I want my students to leave every session feeling more confident, better prepared and capable of applying what they`ve learned independently.
My teaching philosophy? No unnecessary legal jargon, no intimidating explanations and absolutely no academic confusion left unchallenged.
And remember, in my tutoring sessions, you`re innocent of not understanding until proven knowledgeable!
Case closed. Let`s get those distinctions!
