My name is Lynn , I was born in South Africa, Cape Town. I was schooled and worked in Cape Town until the age of 28 when my husband got an opportunity to further his career in the UK. I returned in 2017 and have been assisting my husband in editing and proof reading his now published novels. I have also been involved in the BEE consulting process working along side BEE analysts.
In my last role in the UK, I provided accountability to business operations for delivery of the services and projects by the IT Group, at the level of cost and quality agreed by the business. I had to establish, sustain and enhance a working relationship with Project, Location so that business management was aware of and supported the IT group plans, and in return IT was fully informed of business plans and requirements.
Ensure IT Systems are standard, robust, stable and effective in providing services to support the business. Remain accountable to the Locations business operations management for the cost, quality and delivery of IT Services and projects. Manage the Locations Desk side Support Group. Liaise with the Global IT functions to coordinate IT operations and projects in the Location.
Prepare the IT Location budget and re-forecasts. Oversee expenditures and staffing levels within the Location. Review on a Monthly Basis the Actuals Vs. Budget of the Location, and report to the Business Location Manager the results. Assisted the Business Development and Proposals teams by providing them with the relevant IT costs to be included in the project proposals.
