Duties:
• Test farmer samples of milk for pH, Butterfat, Alizarol
• Test all raw milk tankers prior to releasing to pump to silo’s for pH, Butterfat, Alizarol, Antibiotic test, Resazurin, temperature and organoleptic test
• Test pasteurized milk in tanks prior to releasing for pH, Butterfat, temperature, phosphatase and organoleptic test
• Test packed milk for the same as pasteurized milk and also check weight, date coding, packaging and sealing
• Test blender sample of yoghurt prior to releasing for pH, Brix, Butterfat, taste, color, viscosity and texture
• Test for final product sample of yoghurt
• Test raw material (fruit pulp/syrup) and Brix
• Calibrate all laboratory equipment daily, ensure that all documents are completed daily and filed for the next day, keep samples of each day’s production for retention and shelf life in the retention cold room
