I am a South African citizen and currently living in Cape Town. I am bilingual and speak both Afrikaans and English fluently. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Drama from Stellenbosch University and I`m also TEFL qualified. I have been teaching fulltime for three years. I spent two years teaching in South Korea as a classroom teacher at an English Academy and have been teaching students of all ages and levels online for the last year. Prior to ESL teaching I had a very successful career in the Theatre Industry as a Theatre administrator and Production Manager. One of my great passions is traveling. I have lived and worked in four different countries and travelled to more than ten other countries around the world. I teach beginner and intermediate English. My lessons are all personalized and adapted to my student`s needs, level and interests. Adult lessons may include Travel English, Everyday English or General Conversation. Lessons for younger students include fun and interesting topics to improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. I believe some of the most important aspects of teaching are to make your students feel confident and comfortable and aiming to keep your lessons interesting, engaging and fun!
