My name is Kelly, I am a 3rd year BEd (Intermediate and Senior Phase) student at UNISA and I am majoring in Mathematics. I am a self-disciplined, punctual and goal-oriented BEd student. I have a passion for teaching mathematics for understanding and not just knowing. Enhancing learners` understanding of the subject will enable them to apply each principle in different situations. I also firmly believe, especially in mathematics, that each student`s individual learning style should be considered when teaching and learning mathematics; one cannot simply use a generic method with all students. Experience: As mentioned, I am currently majoring in mathematics, and have also been tutoring mathematics (CAPS curriculum) since the end of 2018 till present. I am able to tutor mathematics for Grades 4 to 10. My individual sessions consist of homework assistance, revising past papers and interpreting and completing exam questions.
