With an Alison Diploma in Mathematics, I bring both knowledge and a patient, tailored approach to each lesson. I specialize in high school mathematics and cover topics such as Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Statistics. I am particularly focused on building a strong foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking skills. My approach is student-centered, meaning I adapt lessons to suit each individual`s learning style and pace.

One-on-one face-to-face tutoring in Mathematics for grades 8-12

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: While I am relatively new to formal tutoring, I have developed a strong understanding of mathematics through my Alison Diploma in Mathematics, which covers key topics from Algebra, Calculus, and Geometry to Statistics. I have a deep passion for the subject and a strong commitment to helping students succeed.

In addition to my formal studies, I have gained valuable experience by helping peers with math-related problems, explaining complex concepts in simple terms, and assisting with exam preparation. These experiences have honed my ability to communicate mathematical ideas clearly and effectively, adapting to the individual needs of each student.

I understand the importance of building confidence in students and am dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and improve their skills. I have a natural ability to break down difficult topics and offer step-by-step explanations, which makes me an effective tutor for students at various learning levels.

Additionally, I have also engaged in volunteer teaching where I helped younger students with their mathematics homework and provided extra support outside of class, which further strengthened my tutoring skills.
