Experience: I am working as the Laboratory intern at Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market, I just started in this year. I am in the Food industry, so here we are analyzing the pesticide residues in the various kinds of Fruit and Vegetable. The reports have to be done each and every week under the following instruments: GC/MS and LC/MS. This Lab is working through the SOP’s, ISO 17025 and GLP, it is accredited to SANAS for its operations. Joburg Market Laboratory is divided into four rooms for the efficiency testing results; it has got washing room, preparation room, GC/MS and LC/MS room. Last year during my honours period, I worked as the Lab assistant preparing the reagents for the first years practical’s in my department.
