I appreciate Science and how it teaches one to think critically. In my leisure time I like learning languages and enjoying the outdoors (Cape Town is the perfect place for this, so I am lucky).

Availability: Weekday evenings and weekend mornings and afternoons

Experience: As a postgrad student, I have tutored undergrad Biochemistry for medical students. I have also taught IGCSE Science in Myanmar for more than a year and volunteered as a High school tutor in South Africa over the years. The best part about it is getting to see the light bulb moment when your student `gets it`. My attitude towards tutoring (teaching) is: " If my student is not understanding a concept, it means I have not explained properly- maybe I should explain it again in a different way."
