As a highly skilled, self-motivated, and well-seasoned Communications Practitioner with âHonours in Corporate Communications Management, as well as compiling my âMA in Development Communicationsâ. I hereby apply for the advertised position within your organization. My experience ranges from working as a Student Invigilator [2009-2010], Library Assistant [2011-2014], Academic Development Officer[2016], and currently [As of 2017 to date], Communication/ Public Relations Lecturer (Module Coordinator) with the University of South Africa (UNISA); this further extends to the supervision of post-graduate research, however, also participated in the Recurriculation Committee in the same institution.
On the other hand, I currently am a member of 1. SACOMM, 2. COMSA and 3. Open-Distance e-Learning (ODeL) Strategic Communications Committee (UNISA) and awaiting re-membership approval from the Public Relations Institute of South Africa (PRISA) 2019. In my previous employment, I have been part-and-parcel of numerous processes and events such as registration committees, Peer-education, just to mention a few (Please see attached CV).
My skills and experience cover the following:
1. Working with multi-media platforms to reach, teach and consult with various clientele,
2. Identifying weaknesses, barriers and detailed analysis within Communication and Public Relations disciplines,
3. Writing, editing and compiling a variety of reports, strategies and academic text (Proofreading, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control)
4. Customer/Client retention and individuality focus,
5. Successful execution of various I.T platforms (e-mails, MS Word, MS publisher, PPT and so forth),
6. Pedagological and assessment planning,
7. Conducting research (both qualitative and quantitative), attentive to detail, public speaking, liaison and maintaining stakeholder relations, procurement procedures, corporate reputation management.
