Qualified teacher with over 40 years experience.
I am now retired, but still very capable and eager to make a difference in the lives of young students.
I have patience and understanding of students with learning difficulties and have a sympathetic yet firm approach.
I am proud of the many successes I achieved to enrich the lives of children and young students in the past

Availability: I am available to assist parents who prefer to enroll their children for Home Education.
For those I am available from 8:30 - 13:00 from Monday to Friday.
I am also available for extra tution in the afternoons from 15:00 -17:00 in the following subjects and grades:
English Grades 6-10
Afrikaans Grades 6-10
Mathematics Grades 4 -8
Accounting and Business Studies Grades 7-10
Aid with other subjects can be discussed with parents depending on the needs and my knowledge of those.

Experience: I qualified as a teacher at the Johannesburg University as a Junior Primary teacher and furthered my studies through University of South Africa.
My experience in teaching started as a Grade 1 teacher and then as a Senior Primary educator. (16 years)
After I completed my further studies, I taught Accounting & Business Studies Grades 8 - 12 and Mathematics Grade 8.
Later I was a lecturer in Higher Education

As a retired teacher I had my own Educational Center in the Western Cape until the end of 2017 where I assisted parents who preferred to Home School their children. My students ranged from Grade 5 to Grade 10. I have knowledge of almost all the Home School Programs, such as Impak, Brain Line, Cambridge and others.
I am also know how the CAPS is applied.
