Hi there! I`m Belinda and I have 5 years of experience teaching English - which was totally by accident!

I initially set out to become a psychologist and to supplement my studies by combining my Bachelor of Psychology degree (from the University of Pretoria, South Africa) with a PGCE (through the University of South Africa), but when I found how much I love teaching, all thoughts of psychology whithered away. I am now in the process of acquiring my Masters in Education through the University of South Wales, and should be qualified by mid-2022.

I absolutely love sharing my love of language with students, be it visual literacy, poetry, language conventions, reading comprehension, and even novel and Shakespeare analysis. I want you to ace your exams, and get the highest possible score in English that you can.

I know that with a little fun combined with a little hard work, we can achieve some truly outstanding grades!

Jan 2018-Jul 2018: English Second Language Teacher to students aged between 3 and 12 (Monkey Tree English Learning Center, Hong Kong)

Aug 2018-Aug 2020: English Literature / Creative Writing / Academic Writing Teacher (American Common Core curriculum) to Grades 9-12 (Kang Chiao International School East China, Shanghai China)
