I`m a detail-oriented Subtitling, scri pting and Adaptation Lead Editor with years of experience in the localization industry and hold a degree in Psychology. Now I bring my eye for detail to the sphere of education. My background in psychology means I am the perfect tutor for learners who are differently abled, and I strive to bring a personal touch to any educational relationship. I also believe that learning needs to be fun to be engaging, hence I bring a light-hearted tone to all my lessons. I am a massive language nerd (I speak ENG, AFR, GER, studied DUTCH, and have a basic grasp of TUR and XHOSA) but also just love learning in general. The only thing I love more than languages, is teaching others and cultivating a passion for knowledge in all those I interact with. I look forward to hearing from you soon! :)

Experience: I`ve had the privilege of rendering services to various high-profile clients, including Disney, Universal, Apple, CBS, ETV, DRV, Paramount, Sony, etc., whilst leading global teams. I have TEFL certification and worked as a recreational therapist for persons with Neurocognitive Impairment (including Alzheimer`s and Dementia). This makes me uniquely suited to assisting learners who are differently abled and/or have special needs. My degree in Psychological Counseling also affords me a personal touch and deeper insight into interpersonal relationships.
