I am a compassionate and creative educator with the ability to reach and inspire students across all ages and skill level, in a fun-filled, engaging manner.

As a qualified teacher, I value individuality and encourage uniqueness among the learners I teach.

Availability: I am available immediately from 08h30 to 16h30 on weekdays.

Experience: I have taught English Home Language and Life Orientation at Greenside High School for two years. Throughout my time there, I was involved in many Extra-curricular activities to promote a great rapport with the students I have taught. These include: Plays Festival Event Co-ordinator, Dance Festival, Public Speaking and Eisteddfod.

Upon reflection, however, I felt a greater impact can be made teaching younger children, which is where I found my true passion for Early Childhood Development, which was only strengthened by two years of working with children afflicted with Autism Spectrum Disorder, aged 3-13.

During my time working in Autism Specific Education, I have been trained on Makaton, a sign language developed specifically for learners with communication impairment; as well as the TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children) Methodology.

In addition to my experience I hold a Bachelor of Education: FET (General) from the University of Pretoria, where I completed my studies in December 2014.
