I matriculated from Redhill High school in 2016 with distinctions in Mathematics and Life Science. I got my Bachelors of Science (BSc Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) from the University of Stellenbosch in 2020. I was one of 25 other students accepted to complete my BSc(Hons) in Biochemistry at the University of Stellenbosch in 2021. The honours program provided great understanding into what a future in academic research would entail. I enrolled for my Masters in Biochemistry in 2022. I am currently taking a break from my Masters studies so my schedule is mostly open.
I would love to work in a research laboratory or industry laboratory where the research I do would make a difference. My hobbies include baking, embroidery, reading, yoga, and golf. I have just started my sourdough bread journey in my free time.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: During 2022 and 2023 I was an undergraduate practical demonstrator who helped the professors during 2nd year biochemistry practical sessions. This involved explaining concepts, answering their questions, and marking the practical assignments and test. This experience helped me understand how to explain topics to someone without the same background knowledge.
