Am a qualified Foundation Phase teacher with 25 years of experience. (The last 20 years were at Crawford International in Johannesburg) i did locum work up to Grade 6 in 2023. I enjoy working with individual children with a special interest in academic support and reading. My interests are reading, travelling, outdoor nature photography and walking.

In 2023 I completed a TEFL course.

Experience: Work 2023 – 2024. While waiting to relocate to George and sell our house, I spent most of 2023 back at Crawford doing locum work from Grade 1 – 6.

FEB – APRIL 2024 Involved in THE LINK LITERACY project: a volunteer initiative aimed at disadvantaged students. This happened once a week.

Responsibilities included: Class Teacher, Curriculum Development, Report Writing, Online teaching (during Covid), Extra-curricular Rainbow READING Programme, Parent meetings, Implementation of the International Bacculaurete PYP Proramme, TODDLE administration, Weekly staff and team meetings. SMARTBOARD lessons.
