I completed my BA Communication Science degree at the University of South Africa.
Through my coursework and a year of volunteering at the Communications Student Association (COMSA) at the University of South Africa and working as a Communication Assistant at the Department of planning, monitoring and evaluation, i have acquired exemplary competence in processing new information, multitasking, appreciation of all roles and my acute sense of timing, understanding of print and online media and being self-discipline. This little coaching session i had have not only enabled me to share my knowledge but also allowed me to widen my knowledge, interact and connect with more students and strengthen my ability to communicate with people across different levels of communications knowledge.
I have an ability to work well with others and help grow their knowledge. I’m a person who strives for success in what I do. I encourage people who I work with, to work towards achieving a mutually developed goal.

ï‚· Organise internal and external
events including writing media
advisories for the events.
ï‚· Assist in the developing of the
marketing and communication
strategy to popularize the National
Development Plan and the work of
the department.
ï‚· Liaise with the internal and external
clients, and attend and resolve their
quarries.
ï‚· Use social media platforms to
communicate the work of the
department.
ï‚· Write content for the departmental
newsletter and compile media
monitoring reports for the
department.
ï‚· Provide photography, videography
and branding support to the
presidency ministerial events and
the National Planning Commission
including editing and archiving
videos and images for
departmental use.
ï‚· Ensure articulation of
Organisation’s desired image and
position, assure consistent
communication of image and position throughout the
Organisation, and assure
Communication of image and
position to all constituencies, both
internal and external.
ï‚· Responsible for editorial direction,
design, production and distribution
of all Organisation publications.
ï‚· Coordinate media interest in the
Organisation and ensure regular
contact with target media and
appropriate response to media
requests.
ï‚· Schedule media interviews slots
with media houses for the
department’s key messengers.
ï‚· Coordinate the appearance of all
Organisation print and electronic
materials such as letterhead, use of
logo, brochures.
