I have a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, with specialization in Creative Writing. My main skills and focus when it comes to tutoring English Language lie in my strong ability to teach students to become more proficient at helping themselves in terms of comprehension and interpretation of subject materials. I try to make English as easy to understand as possible. I have a strong work ethic. I’m adaptable, flexible & a fast learner.I’m humble, loyal & reliable. Experience: I have a track record of more than 14 years, of which 9 years was spent gaining experience in the Education & Training Industry. I have taught English language as both a Communication subject and main language(as a 1st & 2nd Language) at both secondary(High School) and Tertiary levels(Varsity-as part of a Learner Literacy Support Program). As a Varsity Instructor, I was part of a team that specializes in one on one student Intervention work-meaning we specialized in Remedial work. Hence, I am well versed in the assistance of those students who have great difficulty in understanding their English subject material. For a brief period I also lectured 1st year Communications students.I have an excellent command of the English language - verbal & written, as well as excellent communication skills. Proofreading and Editing of any text in English is a further skill I possess.
